PE Announced as Official Sponsor of the Isle of Man TT Races

We’re thrilled to announce that PE, the UK’s largest independent energy supplier to businesses, has teamed up with the Isle of Man TT Races as the Official Utility and EV Energy Partner. This exciting partnership marks a significant step forward for both PE and the globally renowned motorsport event.

The announcement, made on the 10th of April 2024 in London, solidifies our commitment to sustainability and innovation in the energy sector. As part of this collaboration, we will also be the title sponsor of the PE Superstock TT Race 2, scheduled to take place on Friday, 7th June.

But it doesn’t stop there. Our involvement goes beyond sponsorship; it extends to promoting sustainability within the TT event itself. We will conduct a comprehensive carbon footprint assessment, covering various aspects such as visitor travel, accommodation, local transportation, and the impact of racing laps. This initiative aligns with the Isle of Man’s status as the world’s only UNESCO recognised ‘entire nation’ and underscores the importance of environmental responsibility in major sporting events.

Paul Phillips, Head of Motorsport at Isle of Man TT Races, emphasised the significance of environmental sustainability in our strategy. He stated, “Our partnership with PE ensures that we are able to evaluate the impact that the races have and introduce effective working practices that will reduce the environmental impact of the event into the future.“

Neeraj Bhatia, Group CEO of PE, echoed similar sentiments, expressing pride in supporting the Isle of Man TT Races and emphasising PE’s commitment to sustainability. “As passionate advocates of sustainability, we are once again looking forward to helping elevate the races’ green credentials,” he said.
