In February 2023, PE – the largest independent energy supplier in the UK – acquired First Business Water Limited. Now that we have integrated our team and services into PE, we are excited to unveil our new brand identity – Pozitive Water. Pozitive Water is PE’s water and wastewater supplier to the nation’s businesses.

Since the acquisition of First Business Water, PE has made – and will continue to make – significant strategic investment to further enhance our capabilities and service offering.

We’ll do this by providing you with access to PE’s market-leading proprietary technology, enfiniti. Our customer-centric approach to doing business remains, and we now have tech solutions to further enhance our products and services – giving you even greater control and support to achieve your business goals.

What’s more, with PE’s unique approach to sustainability and digital innovation, our rebrand is of benefit to our customers, the wider water retail market, and the environment.

 

Customers will enjoy many benefits of PE’s market-leading, easy-to-use proprietary technology, enfiniti – including enhanced consumption data and budgeting capabilities, and the ability to review and pay your bills online and more.

You’ll also have access to PE’s broad suite of products and services including electricity, gas, electric vehicle charging, and financial services and even carbon offsetting.

Our customers will also now be able to benefit from greater cost and time savings, more simple billing – especially in terms of consolidation over multiple sites. We remain committed to managing your water requirements efficiently and sustainably, so that you can focus on your primary goal – running and growing your business.

First Business Water Limited will officially rebrand as Pozitive Water on 31st October 2024. It’s a name change only, with the Company House registration number (10797006) being retained. We will continue to operate as we always have, as a leading licensed water retailer, providing water and wastewater services to businesses in England.

The rebrand to Pozitive Water provides customers with an enhanced quality and breadth of products and services, delivered at the same exceptionally high standard and with the meticulous approach we’re known for. You’ll also benefit from the financial resilience, reliability, and peace of mind, which comes from being part of the UK’s largest independent energy supplier.

PE is a technology-first business utilities company with digital innovation at its core, underpinned with a commitment to providing a personal touch. Pozitive Water is PE’s water and wastewater supplier to the nation’s businesses.

With a unique business model and approach, PE helps hundreds of thousands of UK businesses manage their energy, payments, EV charging and even carbon offsetting – and now water – from one single login: whilst driving profitability and sustainability.

Customers will continue to enjoy many benefits of cost savings, simple billing and consolidation over multiple sites, as well as time savings. But they’ll now be able to manage their water – as well as a much wider suite of products and services, and even carbon offsetting – from one easy to use online energy management platform, designed to optimise your utility experience, whilst driving their profitability and sustainability. This end-to-end cloud-based platform can co-exist or integrate directly with legacy systems, ensuring a seamless transition for customers.

PE also has a strong Trust Pilot review score of 4.2 at the time of writing (October 2024).

There will be no impact on your existing contract or agreement. The rebrand is solely a name change – with many additional customer benefits and services.

Your payment frequency, method, and schedules will remain the same. The only difference will be the name on your payments. After settling your October invoice, we kindly ask you to update your payments methods to reflect our new name – Pozitive Water later this month, you will be billed by Pozitive Water.

No, you do not need to cancel your direct debit.

We ask that customer change the account name from First Business Water to Pozitive Water on 31st October, before you receive your November invoice from Pozitive Water.

It won’t. Our customer support and response times will remain unaffected, with customers continuing to receive the standard of service you’ve always received.

Pozitive Water is the same company as First Business Water. The core management team remains the same and customer account managers also remain in place.

No, our physical location remains the same. Earlier this year we moved into PE’s new headquarters at One Canada Square, in London’s Canary Wharf.

No, there will be no change to our hours of business or team availability.

There is no change to your emergency contacts. From Monday – Friday, between 9am-5pm, you can report an emergency, disruption to your water supply, water quality and/or wastewater service to Pozitive Water by calling 0800 849 1342.

Outside of Pozitive Water’s normal office hours, in an emergency or if you experience unplanned changes or disruption to your water supply, water quality and/or wastewater service, please call your wholesaler directly. Their contact details can be found here.
